Seaborn moved to Durham, North Carolina to attend Duke University to pursue a Masters in Management Studies. It is rumored that the duo were already in a long-distance relationship at this time.

As she entered university, the keen hockey player joined the Blue Devils’ starting offense during her first season. According to the university’s website, Seaborn played in 23 of 24 matches, before being injured. Her prowess helped the team reach the NCAA championship. During the pivotal final match, Seaborn is credited with scoring six goals.

The accounting consultant  previously played collegiately at Durham University in the UK, helping to lead the squad to two British University Championships. She also has European Championship Medals to her name.

Her athletic talent comes as no surprise. Her father, Matthew Seaborn, played cricket and soccer for Oxford University and her brother plays rugby for Durham University.

Seaborn spent time working at a high end accounting firm in New York, before transferring back to London to reunite with her flame. She has been Sheeran’s live-in girlfriend since summer of 2015.

While the couple are extremely low profile and private, Sheeran has spoken numerous times about their blissfully happy relationship.

The “Shape of You” singer credits her with nursing him back to health after his cycling accident last year.

Sheeran (26) and Seaborn (25) are undoubtedly tightly knit; he previously told People Magazine:

"This has been the first time I've actually had the time to fall in love properly. So the catalyst of taking a year off was also the fact that my partner quit her job in New York — which she's now got back in London, which is really cool — but we were just basically like, let's quit our jobs and have a year of forming a tight bond. So we went traveling and spent every day for a year together."
