Irish dance group Fusion Fighters has released an inspiring new video with original music.

‘Fusion Orchestra 2,’ posted to the group’s Facebook page, debuts new music by Brain McGrane, a music producer from Navan, Co. Meath, who is currently on tour as the pianist in Celtic Woman.

Filmed in a green screen studio in Cork last August, the energizing video is a follow-up to the group’s piece ‘Fusion Orchestra,’ a blend of Irish dance, tap, and percussion, which was developed for the BBC documentary series ‘Jigs & Wigs’ and released last year.

Their latest project features performers Chris Naish, Brian McGrane, Michael Donnellan, Nicole Lonergan, Michael Gardiner, Matthew Gardiner aka Gardiner Brothers, Ronan McGrane and Alan Farquharson.

The talented dance company has modernized Irish dance with a mix of dance forms, different music styles, and technology.

Later this year, the group plans to launch ‘Fusion Dance Fest,’ a week-long festival to be held in Limerick.

More information about the group can be found on their website and their Facebook page.
