A rose is to be named after Natasha Richardson in honor of the late actress.

Friends and family of the 45-year-old wife of Irish actor Liam Neeson have been brainstorming ways to commemorate her life since Richardson passed away after a skiing accident in March.

Now it’s been decided that the talented stage and film actress will be remembered with her own English rose.

A source close to the family told Britain’s Sunday Express: "We all want something to remember Natasha and there's no one who better resembles a perfect English rose than her. The whole family loves the idea of having a rose named after her."

Richardson, a member of the famous Redgrave family, suffered a traumatic head injury after a skiing accident in the Quebec resort of Mont Tremblant.

She was taken to Hopital du Sacre-Coeur de Montreal and transferred to Lenox Hill Hospital  in New York the next day.

The Tony-award-winning actress died on March 18.
