The pair first worked together on the video for "Lego House", using their resemblance to their advantage by having the "Harry Potter" star seeminly playing Sheeran.

To celebrate the Halifax-singer’s new music, he shared a clip to his social media, revealing that the song will be released on Thursday, August 7, and is called "A Little More".

He captioned the clip: "14 years later me and @rupertgrint are reunited. I had this wild idea after writing the song, and thankfully rupert was up for it.

"It’s an utterly bonkers video for a very upbeat, fun, but angry song. Think this one is gonna be a lot of people’s fav song from Play. Out Thursday, watch out for more stuff coming x."

In the days leading up to the announcement, Rupert had seemingly hacked into Ed’s Instagram account, and was posting photos teasing their upcoming reunion.

Rupert is wearing the same hoody he was wearing in "Lego House", and it seems the video for "A Little More" will be a follow-up to the story depicted in their previous collab.

Ed Sheeran.

Ed Sheeran.

The takeover was played up so much that even Ed’s official X account shared a statement about the "hack" and said: "We’ve been made aware that Ed’s social
media accounts have been accessed by an unknown party. Unreleased music has been posted on his profiles.

"We have been working hard on securing the accounts, and from looking into this further, we have managed to obtain a distorted picture of the person of interest who appears to be wearing an orange hoodie (please see the next slide for reference). The photo looks like it was taken around 2011.

"Relevant officials are now aware of the breach and our findings. However. we have made the decision to keep the song up because it’s a total banger. EDHQ"

"The Lego House" music video sees Grint seemingly portraying Sheeran, and is shown writing song lyrics, lounging on the tour bus and even going on stage to a cheering crowd.

However, it’s revealed that he’s actually not playing Ed at all and is, in fact, an obsessed fan of Sheeran’s and security has tackled him to the ground shortly after he made his way on stage.

The clips we previously saw are now shown in this context, revealing Grint’s character as a stalker as opposed to the musician himself, and the video ends with the two running into each other as Rupert is being removed from the venue and Ed is on his way to perform.

In the "A Little More" video, it shows Grint leaving what appears to be a prison, and gives us the impression that we’ll see what he’s going to do with his newfound freedom.

Judging by one of the images shared to Ed’s Instagramstories, it looks like Grint might be up to his old tricks… we’ll have to wait for the full music video to be released to find out for certain.
