New daddy Colin Farrell certainly takes his parenting duties seriously.

In addition to welcoming new baby Henry last month with his Polish actress girlfriend Alicja Bachleda Curus, Colin is also father to James Padraig, a six-year-old from a previous relationship who was born with the rare neuro genetic disorder Angelman Syndrome, which results in intellectual and developmental delays.

The Irish actor has often been quoted as saying that James is the light of his life, and he’s been outspoken in his support of finding a cure for the disease that afflicts one out of every 15,000 babies born each year.

Next month, Farrell will personally support the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics (FAST) by appearing at the organization’s fundraising gala in Chicago.

The Dubliner is scheduled to give a speech at FAST’s “Evening With the Stars” on December 5 at Hyatt Regency in Chicago.

“The families involved with FAST have created a strong support network while tirelessly assisting those dedicated to finding a cure. I’m extremely proud to support such an inspiring organization,” said the Golden Globe winner.

Something that Colin is undoubtedly not too proud of, though, is an old hook-up who apparently is continuing to cause problems.

Back in 2005 Colin won an injunction against former Playboy Playmate Nicole Narain, barring her from distributing or profiting from a sex tape the two had made in 2003.

Now, several tabloid outfits report, a copy of that notorious tape has made its way into the hands of Curus’ parents, who are said to be conservative Polish people.

"Colin hoped he'd seen the last of the tape. Him and Alicja are desperate to find out who sent it,” a source told the Bang Showbiz website.

"Alicja's parents in Poland met Colin and liked him a lot. But they are Catholic and very old fashioned."

Narain, meanwhile, is continuing to generate headlines for herself by going on a series of shows, including the new talker fronted by Joy Behar, to fess up to – wait for it – a masturbation addiction.
