Lady Gaga has taught Anderson Cooper how to appreciate Irish whiskey. Gaga who has been performing throughout Europe for her Monster Ball tour met the “60 Minutes” presenter in London where the pair ventured to a pub and began drinking Jameson.

Cooper told Chris Jacobs of "The Insider" about his Irish whiskey drinking binge with the star.

"We actually ended up that day in a pub in London drinking Jameson, which I don't really drink… So, she got me to drink, like, two of them. And by the end, I was ready to have the interview be over, because I really sort of couldn't ask anymore questions."

The CBS journalist was interviewing the pop princess for “60 Minutes” and met her in at least three different locations as part of the program, the most recent meeting being London.

Anderson told Jacobs that the thing he loves about his CBS gig is getting to spend time with the people he interviews over a period of time. Which helped him learns more about the person he is profiling.

"What's great about 60 Minutes is you spend a lot of time with the person you're profiling," he said. "So to be able to spend a couple weekends with her in various places over the course of several months, it's really cool. And it's really interesting and I'm learning stuff about her (Gaga) I never saw before."

The profile of Lady Gaga, including the Irish whiskey scenes, will air in February of 2011.
