Colin Farrell will be home for Christmas, an Irish paper revealed today. The acclaimed Hollywood actor will be staying in Dublin with his girlfriend Alicja Bachleda and their new baby Henry Tadeusz Farrell, according to the Evening Herald.

Farrell is originally from Dublin, and some members of his family have yet to meet baby Henry, who was born in October.

Farrell has another son by an earlier girlfriend Kim Bordenave, a former model. But things quickly got serious between the star and the Polish Alicja, and the pair moved in together in Hollywood after she found she was pregnant.

"Colin's a real family-orientated guy and nearly always makes it back for Christmas anyway, no matter how busy he is with his filming schedule, but this year it will be extra-special thanks to his new baby," said a source close to the family in the Evening Herald.

Farrell is looking forward to showing off his little son to family and friends, the source added.

Colin met Alicja on the set of Ondine, a dreamlike film directed by Neil Jordan about an Irish fisherman who captures a woman in his net, and believes her to be a mermaid. Alicja, who is one of Poland’s biggest stars, played the mermaid.

The chemistry between the two was instant. And now it looks like it will be a very merry Christmas for Farrell and his young family.
