Representatives for Alec Baldwin said his daughter Ireland calling 911 and leading to her father being hospital, was a misunderstanding.

Baldwin spent an hour in Lenox Hill Hospital this morning (Thursday) after Ireland called 911.

A spokesperson for Baldwin said he is "just fine."

According to reports, Ireland, 14, called 911 stating that her father was unresponsive.

Emergency responders rushed the '30 Rock' star from his Manhattan apartment to the hospital about 12. 10 a.m. Baldwin was released from hospital about an hour later.

A law enforcement officer told the Associate Press that Baldwin and Ireland had been arguing and that Baldwin apparently told his daughter that he was going to take pills.

The father-daughter duo have had a rocky relationship for some time. In 2007, when Ireland didn't answer her phone during a scheduled court appointed time, Baldwin left her a voice mail calling her a "rude, thoughtless little pig" and he threatened to "straighten your little ass out."

"This was a misunderstanding on one person's part," the star's rep, Matthew Hiltzik, said in a statement Thursday.

"Alec was quickly released from the hospital, he's completely fine and will be at work today."
