The folks at Facts, the people who brought you “Irish People Explain Irish Insults” video, got topical this week and with a prank call to the World Bank. The jokers pretended to be U2’s front man Bono offering to bail out the debt ridden nation of Greece.

In the video entitled “Bono Tries To Bail Out Greece (Prank Call)” the joker manages to get through to Senior Communications Officer in the World Bank, Frederick Lawrence Jones. The good-natured Comms man takes the joke on the chin.

Surprised by the call at first he askes “He / she wants to talk about bailing out Greece?!”

The caller is actually pretty tricky. Listen to see if you can spot the song names he drops into the call.

"Hopelessly devoted" U2 front man offers to help out debt ridden European nation.
