"First Dates Ireland’s" first episode in the new season featured the most painfully awkward ending to a date we’ve ever seen.

The RTÉ dating show brought together Aidan from Tralee, Co Kerry, and Siobhan from Youghal, Co Cork, and their interactions with one another are cringe-inducing.

Aidan failed to charm Siobhan, and he quickly realizes she has absolutely no interest in him. He uses the word “bird” to describe her and jokes to the waiter that it must have taken Siobhan three hours to get ready for the date, and she does not look at all impressed.

When it comes to the part where they’re asked if they would be willing to meet each other again, Siobhan’s unexpected answer makes things even more awkward.
