With the close of Irish dance flash mob week, we’ve established that the Irish are among the best at pulling off flash mobs that utterly delight and surprise.

Here’s one more Irish flash mob that is beyond deserving of a second look.

For Christmas 2012, the Northern Ireland Tourist Bureau decided to give one family a very special welcome home.

Roisin Monroe from Ohio, home for the holidays for the first time in ten years with her children Brandon and Kaeli-Ann, was greeted at George Best Belfast City Airport by not just her family but also members of the Belfast Community Choir.

Disguised as fellow travelers, a bachelorette party, airport workers and an airplane cabin crew, they serenaded the Monroe family with a moving rendition of “Joy to the World” as they enjoyed their emotional reunion.
