An Irish mammy celebrating her 90th birthday on the RTE Late Late Show last night won the hearts of the show’s viewers.

Nora Kelly, from Killarney, Co Kerry, was in the audience with her 19 children, who took up the entire front row.

The Irish mammy and grandmother told show host Ryan Tubridy: "I thought it was my last, Number 12" but she’d go on to have another seven children.

Nora also has 58 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

She told viewers: "I'm very proud of them and I love every one of them."

On growing up with such a large family, Nora’s youngest, daughter Laura, said: "I don’t think anyone was spoilt but I do think I was treated with more mothers than I deserved.”

Viewers, inspired by Nora, took to social media to pay tribute to her, calling her a “legend” and to wish her a happy birthday.
