Ryanair is considering charging passengers to use the toilet on its aircraft. The airline’s boss, Michael O’Leary, is touting the idea of putting a coin slot on the toilet door as a means of raising “discretionary revenue.” Ryanair recently an-nounced plans to shut all check-in desks at airports and require passengers to check-in online in an effort to cut costs. The airline is also introducing an onboard mobile phone service that will charge passengers up to €3 per minute to make a phone call. Evening Herald
