It has been confirmed that after a speedy two months of dating, the “Breaking dawn” star Nikki Reed, 23, and “American Idol” finalist Paul McDonald, 26, are engaged.
Reed’s ring finger twinkled as the couple posed for photographs on the red carpet at Sunday night’s 2011 MTV Movie Awards. E! News was the first to break the story reporting that the actress said "He's the one," when asked about future wedding plans with her new beau.
The couple became public about their brand-new romance in mid-April, immediately following Paul McDonald’s elimination from “Idol.” They have been living together since in Reed’s Los Angeles home and are reported to be currently shopping for a bigger home.

"I love him and I don't care," Nikki Reed told People in May regarding the hastiness of the romance.
"I've never met anyone like him. I've never met anyone who has such a good solid heart and comes from such a good solid family and is just a genuine person. We have the exact same sense of humor. I've never laughed so much with anyone as I do with him."
