The Irish International Immigrant Center is happy to announce that Evelyn Brito has been appointed Volunteer and Reception Coordinator. Evelyn has worked as a Domestic Violence Advocate for Casa Myra Vazquez, where she helped women and children receive community services so they can become self-sufficient. Evelyn has also worked for the Dudley Square Neighborhood Initiative. She will coordinate all volunteers within the organization, and manage the front-desk reception. Her passion for social change and equality has attracted her to be part of the IIIC team and mission. In her spare time, Evelyn produces short films on social justice and she volunteers with various community events.
