'X Factor’s’ bosses have decided to fly Mary Byrne’s family over to London from Ballyfermot in Dublin in a last ditch attempt to stop her quitting the show.
The TV executives are paying for her daughter, Debbie, her brother and two of her work colleagues.
25-year-old Debbie said “Mum is fed-up and homesick, all the contestants are younger than her - God help her."
On Saturday night Mary broke down in tears after a poor rendition of “There You’ll Be” (see below). She said “I'm just not in the zone, I'm lonely for my daughter, for everything.”
