Jon Stewart has revealed the location for his upcoming 'Rally To Restore Sanity' event.
Stewart announced on an edition of The Daily Show last week that the October 30 political gathering will take place on the east end of Washington DC's National Mall.
The National Mall is the site where Dr Martin Luther King Jr delivered his famous 'I Have A Dream' speech in 1963.
The comedian joked about the historic nature of the location by saying: "As far as we know, no huge iconic event has ever taken place there."
He continued: "The National Mall is an incredible gathering place for all Americans and in desperate need of upkeep and repair, especially after all of us rally on it."
Stewart's fellow Comedy Central host Stephen Colbert will hold a simultaneous 'Keep Fear Alive' rally, also on October 30 in Washington DC.
