The actor approved a secret design for his forearm during a visit to Big Joe & Sons tattoo parlour in White Plains, Westchester County, New York, on Monday night (11.04.11).
The former ‘Two and a Half Men’ star signed off the plans for the etching while his girlfriend, “goddess” Natalie Kenly, got some ink applied to her body – a drawing of a compass on her inner right forearm.
Speaking about Charlie’s tattoo, shop owner Adam Kaplan told the New York Daily News newspaper: "It's something meaningful to him. That's all I can reveal. He'll be back shortly to get it."
Discussing Natalie’s body art, he said: “It (the compass) has just the 'W' on it, nothing for north, south or east. She said she always wanted it since she's from the west coast.”
Before he stopped off at the tattoo parlour, Charlie – who already has several pieces of body art – visited his friend Chuck Zito at his Street Fighting School in Pelham.
Chuck revealed: “We jumped in the ring for some sparring, but he kept his glasses on. He knows I wouldn't hit a man with glasses.”
The pals also made a stop at the City Island Lobster House for a late night meal.
Chuck claims the troubled 45-year-old star – who is currently on his 'Violent Torpedo of Truth' live show tour – is “definitely not on any drugs anymore” and has rehired him as his bodyguard and trainer because he wants to get in good shape again and focus on his career”.
