This story of a woman giving birth in a Texas fast food restaurant bathroom is straight out of a movie.

Many proud fathers take to social media to share the good news when they welcome a child, however Robert Griffin’s recent Facebook post has gone viral for a rather unusual reason.

The Christian family man was driving his wife Maggie to hospital earlier this week when their plans drastically changed. Griffin drove to a nearby Chick-fil-A to drop the couple’s children off with family friends when Maggie informed him she desperately needed the rest room.

However, the restaurant was closed as it was 10.30pm. Cleaning staff on site allowed the heavily pregnant woman inside to use the facilities, and moments later were shocked to hear screaming.

According to reports, store director Brenda Enriquez called 911 immediately, as Griffin entered the bathroom and saw his wife straddling the toilet with the baby’s head visible.

“I knew we couldn’t go anywhere,” the dad told local news KSAT. “So I told Maggie, ‘Sweetie, we’re gonna do something great, and we’re gonna do it right here and we’re gonna do it right now.”

While his wife began to go into labor, Griffin noticed that the umbilical cord was wrapped around the baby’s neck, twice. Calmly, he managed to unwrap the cord from the newborn’s neck without alerting his wife.

The proud father wrote on his Facebook page that Gracelyn Mae Violet Griffin was born in just six minutes. He added that she was wrapped in his Trump 2020 t-shirt to keep her warm.

“I think it’s pretty ironic that a proud conservative, Christian family would have a baby in a Chick-fil-A, and wrapped in a Trump 2020 T-shirt! BOOM #maga.”

Griffin’s facebook post has already gone viral - with over 100,000 shares. As the Gracelyn’s birth certificate even says that she was born at the San Antonio Chick-fil-A, franchise owner Ben Stover said that she will eat at the location for free for the rest of her life. In fact, she also has a guaranteed job there should she want it when she turns 16.
