An Irish American mom and her husband have just welcomed six little miracles into their family after a cesarean section at 27 weeks. The three boys and three girls remain in critical condition.

Over 60 members of the staff were involved in the complicated task of delivering the six babies at the Abington Memorial Hospital.

Stacey and Brendan Carey, from  Feasterville,Pa  met with the press to speak about the arrival of Patrick, Conner,  John, Emma, Samantha and Olivia.

"As the doctors have already explained, the pregnancy and the delivery were very risky and complicated, but with their superior guidance, we made it through, and now we're blessed with six beautiful babies," said Stacey. "We already have a 16-month-old daughter, so now our family of nine is complete!"

The six babies remain in critical condition on ventilator support. Their doctor Gerard Cleary said the babies are “not out of the woods” yet. However, it’s “far too early to make predictions.”
