Hang on to your hats. 20th Century Fox will present a special two-week limited engagement of ‘GLEE LIVE! 3D!’ in theaters starting August 12th.

That means you’ll be paying for tickets to a film of the cast live in concert, if you're wondering - it doesn't mean they'll be working it live onstage.

But still. Glee. Squee!

The new movie promises to "capture the unique concert experience" from the upcoming live tour, along with "special moments involving the characters" which includes 14 of the show's cast members.

"This tour was all about going out and performing for our amazing fans who have supported our show from the beginning, but due to the limited time we had to travel during our hiatus, there were only so many cities we could get to before we had to resume work on the television series," series co-creator Ryan Murphy told the press this week.

"We knew that not every fan who wanted to attend a concert would get that opportunity. Now, thanks to our friends at Twentieth Century Fox Film, we'll be able to bring the concert experience to movie theaters across the country in full three dimensional glory. We promise every passionate 'Gleek' a cinematic experience that will have them singing and dancing in the aisles."

So now you know where you'll be this August indoors enjoying a break from the sweltering heat and bopping to Glee in 3D.
