Former Irish Voice and IrishCentral.com editor, April Drew, is helping couples from all over the world plan their fairytale Irish castle or manor house wedding in Ireland via a new website and magazine that launched this week called Weddings in Ireland.

It’s no secret that Ireland’s luscious landscapes and alluring locations make it one of the world’s most romantic wedding destinations. Until now, planning a wedding from abroad on the beautiful Emerald Isle proved to be a difficult task.

Ireland has long been a favorite wedding destination spot for couples with Irish heritage (and some with no connection at all) and Weddings in Ireland has now stepped in to assist couples in planning their Irish wedding

World-renowned skateboarder Tony Hawk and his wife Catherine shared their wedding day with Weddings in Ireland.

“We live in North County San Diego, lots of sun and skate parks, however, I would take a gloomy Irish morning over sunshine any day,” shared Catherine after her dreamy Irish wedding to Hawk in Adare Manor in Limerick which was organized by West Coast Weddings.

Weddings in Ireland was launched by publishing house Drew Media this week and is working with some of Ireland’s most exclusive wedding venues and suppliers in the country.

The business is the brainchild of Co. Kerry native Drew, who is also responsible for four other wedding titles in Ireland including Ireland’s only same sex wedding magazine, Irish LGBT Weddings. Drew planned her own Irish wedding from New York and found it challenging to do it from 3,000 miles away.

“I found it very difficult and overwhelming planning my own wedding from my desk in New York. I had not attended many Irish weddings and would have loved a resource like Weddings in Ireland to have guided me through the whole process. To have someone at the other end of an email in Ireland with the expertise required to plan a wedding from another country would have been worth everything to me,” said Drew.

Couples travel to Ireland to get married in historical Irish castles and stately manor homes and Weddings in Ireland will be the perfect resource to guide any bride or groom in the right direction.  With the availability of wedding planners at their offices in Ireland it will make planning a wedding from abroad so easy.

Along with an exclusive website (wedireland.com) the magazine can be purchased online and sent directly to couple’s homes or offices.

“Ireland is a dream wedding location for so many couples and it’s easy to see why with our stunning landscapes and historic venues on our doorsteps. As I learned through my own experience planning a wedding in Ireland from abroad, it’s no easy feat. We wanted to make the whole wedding planning process seamless for couples coming from the U.S. and all over the world by providing them with a guide to planning a wedding in Ireland,” Drew said.

WedIreland.com is completely user friendly with beautifully curated content specially for those dreaming of sharing their vows in Ireland, their ‘home away from home’. The website offers guidance on some of Ireland’s most luxurious and well renowned wedding venues and suppliers, along with several Real Weddings to see what others did before you.
