One month after her split from One Directioner Liam Payne, Cheryl Tweedy is said to have found happiness in the arms of an Irish business man.
The rumor mill has gone into overdrive with reports that Cheryl Tweedy is secretly dating a successful Irish businessman.
The brunette beauty split from Liam Payne (24) last month after two-and-a-half years of dating. The couple welcomed their baby boy, Bear, 16 months ago.
According to The Irish Mirror, the former Girls Aloud pop star has been enjoying a "string of dates with a secret Irish businessman".
The outlet states that the 35-year-old singer is "smitten" and that the new romance is "helping her get over the heartache".
Tweedy, who has been married to footballer Ashley Cole and French restaurateur Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini, is allegedly enjoying low-key coffee dates with the new mystery man.
Tweedy is currently on Irish soil to film a cameo in an upcoming movie with Russell Brand and Michael Caine.
A source close to the Newcastle native said, “Cheryl has no intentions of taking a break from romance. She really hates being on her own."
“There is already a hot contender for her affections which Cheryl has been very coy about," they added.
“All she says is he is Irish and successful – but not in the music business. Cheryl has a very small close circle of trusted friends and only a few of those know there is ‘someone special’ helping to console her through the split."
“It’s not yet a full-on relationship but it’s definitely moving more from the friendship zone to the partner zone," they teased as they noted, "Cheryl’s had him over for coffee dates and they constantly talk on the phone and WhatsApp."
The mystery source also said that the unknown man is "older than Cheryl" and that they were "introduced through a mutual friend".
However, a spokesperson for the former X Factor judge slammed the claims of a new romance as "ridiculous".
The Irish Independent reports that the singer's representative said there is "no truth" to the link with an unidentified Irish businessman.
