The fan frenzy Susan Boyle was greeted with when she recently landed at the Los Angeles LAX Airport was like Beatlemania, according to the singing star.

Reports say an overwhelmed Boyle compared her reception by the 2,000 screaming fans and TV cameras in the U.S. to the insane American response the British band got from teenage girls back in the 60s.

A source close to the overnight celebrity told Britain’s Mirror: “She had no idea the reaction would be quite so amazing. She kept joking, ‘It’s like the Beatles.’”

The Scottish singer, who has flown into the U.S. to perform on the season finale of “America’s Got Talent,” was greeted by thousands of SuBo fans chanting “We love Susan.”

Boyle told the excited crowd: “I’m really nervous and quite overwhelmed by the reaction. It’s like nothing I’ve ever come across. It’s so flattering and I am really excited about being here. Thank you so much.”

The “Britain’s Got Talent” star will sing the “Les Mis” classic “I Dreamed a Dream,” which shot her to stardom back in April.

She’ll also perform her new cover of the Rolling Stones’ “Wild Horses,” which will be featured on her upcoming debut album.
