The second part of the behind-the-scenes look at Rihanna’s ‘We Found Love’ video shoot has been released. This newly released segment looks at her time spent filming in the New Lodge area of Belfast. ‘We Found Love’ is Rihanna’s first single to be released from her upcoming “Talk That Talk” album.

Speaking of the Northern Ireland location for her shoot, Rihanna explained how the European leg of her tour “LOUD” was to kick off in Belfast, leaving the crew only three days in the area to shoot the video. The location of Northern Ireland drew some criticism as the song features the repeating line, “We found love in a hopeless place.”

“I think this is the perfect place for this treatment,” said Rihanna in the first behind-the-scenes video while on the now infamous farm in Bangor, County Down.

Strangely, the video makes no mention of the confrontation that the farmer in Bangor, Alan Graham, caused when he forced the shoot to shut down because he felt it was becoming “inappropriate.”

Of day one of the shoot, Rihanna said, “it was a great success...we had so much fun.”

This newly released second video however focuses on her time in New Lodge and seems to contradict, or at least not shed light on, reports that Rihanna was frustrated with the growing crowds. In fact, she seems excited that some of her fans even skipped out on school early to come grab a peek at the video shoot. Swooping shots of excited and chanting fans are interspersed throughout the short video.

The middle of the video shows crew members requesting onlookers to move back so a scene featuring a car driving in donuts could be filmed. Fans, however, were told they were allowed to keep filming on their cellphones.

The final music video is chock full of rather graphic imagery, and it isn’t short on sexually-charged moments, drug references, and violence, in conjunction with heavy partying.

“I want the video to give them hope for love,” said Rihanna of her now chart-topping hit, ‘We Found Love.’ English boxer and model Dudley O’Shaughnessy shares the spotlight as Rihanna’s love interest in the video, which caused quick comparisons to Rihanna’s ex-beau Chris Brown.

“It’s one of the deepest videos I’ve ever done,” said Rihanna early in the shoot.
