The rumor mill is just cranking up over a short clip just released from Lady Gaga's forthcoming documentary Gaga by Gaultier. It's her most provocative outing to date and in the company of the legendary French fashion designer she's sure to make headlines.
In the new clip the 25-year-old singer is dressed as a nun alongside Gaultier, 59, who is dressed as a priest and the scene culminates with the designer playfully spanking her.
It's a provocative image, but it's also obviously silly and designed to garner publicity rather than make any deep point. The special, called Gaga by Gaultier, will air on September 12 in the US.

Gaga was raised Catholic on New York's Upper West Side and she knows the power of a collar to shock. But Gaga’s creative director Laurieann Gibson told The Hollywood Reporter this week that the artist had no intention of offending others.
'It went through several changes and late-night debates because at one point, there were two completely different views and I was like, ‘Listen, I don’t want lightning to strike me! I believe in the gospel and I’m not going there,' Gibson said.
