New photos of Ryan Reynold's 'Green Lantern' go online

New photos of the fabulous, recently voted one of the most beautiful people in the world, Ryan Reynolds have been released. The photos show Reynolds as the DC comic book hero Green Lantern.

The CGI-enhanced images show the Irish Canadian actor in his dashing green outfit. There had been some trepidation about how the costume would be interpreted in the new movie.

Reynolds recently spoke about how he had to work hard at getting into shape for his new movie. He also said the movie's director Martin Campbell had to "beat him up" to encourage him to get fitter.

According to Contact Music he said "I had to wear that suit, so I put in my required time in the gym. But I'm not one of those actors who romanticizes his trials working out and brags that he can bench press a panda now…Martin Campbell was more dangerous than the training. He pushes you so hard on the set that he beats you up. I came away with a separated shoulder and a torn abdominal muscle."

The movie will be released on June 17.
