In an attempt to take control of her life, or perhaps just stay out of jail, actress Lindsay Lohan has entered rehab for the fourth time this week.

The actress, 24, checked into Pickford Lofts, the sober living center, on Wednesday morning.

The home was originally opened by lawyer Robert Shapiro, a member of O.J. Simpson's defense team, who started the facility after his son, Brent, died of a drug overdose in 2005.

Lohan has also reportedly hired Shapiro to help her fight her 90-day jail sentence after her previous attorney Shawn Chapman Holley quit.

Lohan's mother, Dina Lohan, and her ex Samantha Ronson, were photographed visiting Lindsay at the luxurious West Hollywood facility, in which residents live in lofts with designer kitchens, Internet access and flat-screen TVs.

'For months we have been begging Lindsay to enter rehab, for her own health, and to avoid incarceration,' Shapiro told the press. He continued by mentioning his hope that Lohan gets off her dependency to prescription medications and mends her relationship with her father, Michael Lohan.
