"Twilight" star and global heartthrob Robert Pattinson has not only captured the hearts and imagination of the worlds’ female teenage population, but now he has his sights sets on coming to the Great White Way to get back to his stage roots.

The 24-year-old hunk has not hidden his desire to have a go on the Broadway stage.

"Stage work is something that I want to do as soon as I get a window. It's what I trained to do and what I really miss," he told CBS recently.

Tellingly, RPatz put him out there for a stint in New York as well as London's West End

"I am open to any offers play-wise for here (West End) or Broadway."

Is there no end to this man’s talent and ambition?  He also wants to cut an album if he gets the chance.

Pattinson points to his “Harry Potter” colleague Daniel Radcliffe as a great example of a young movie star who successfully made the transition on to Broadway.

"I love the mix of stuff he has done in his career, always pushing the boundaries and stuff like that. I also envy his stints on stage; he is a great actor."
