New documentary series for TG4, Gaeil Boston, is seeking out an Irish immigrant police officer and an Irish woman who started her own technology or pharmaceutical company in Boston.

Gaeil Boston, a new four-part documentary series for TG4, presented by TG4/RTÉ Journalist Seán Mac an tSíthigh, will delve into the lives of many Irish people who now call Boston their home. 

The documentary will explore the Irish culture and community spirit in Boston and also find out why so many Irish people immigrated as far back as the 1800s and what life was like for them at that time.

Filming will take place in Boston from the  Aug 31 to Sept 13 to complete segments of the series. 

Gaeil Boston is looking for the following people to be part of this exciting and interesting project:

  • An Irish immigrant police officer who is based in Boston, who works mainly on the beat and who speaks Irish.
  • An Irish woman who started her own technology or pharmaceutical company in Boston and has been going from strength to strength ever since and who also speaks Irish.
