What should the Dublin Zoo name its latest arrival?

That depends upon finding a name fitting enough for the cutest 2-month-old Asian lion cub to prowl around Dublin.

The cub was born to first-time mother Zuri and "experienced dad" Kumar. Asian lions are especially endangered, with only 350 left surviving in the wild.

"In the past, Dublin Zoo was very successful breeding African lions. It is now of great conservation importance that zoos maintain a viable population of critically endangered Asian lions," team leader Ciarán McMahon told RTE.

"We're thrilled about the arrival of the cub. He has a wonderfully playful and curious personality," he said.

"It's lovely to see Zuri taking to her role as a new mum so well and Kumar is as cool and calm as ever. At two months old he [the cub] now weighs an estimated 14.5 lbs."

The zoo has not yet decdied on a name forthe  little cub and is asking the public for suggestions.
