The star of ‘Gulliver’s Travels, actress Amanda Peet has said that Northern Ireland is one of her favorite travel destinations.
The actress travelled to Northern Ireland last summer with her screenwriter husband David Benioff and their newborn baby where they found it to be “very special”.
Having traveled extensively, the star admits that Belfast city may not be the obvious choice for many, but she still loved the location.
“I know that Belfast doesn't seem like a really hot travel destination, but we had a really wonderful time there,” she told the Daily News.
“We had our newborn baby and my husband was working on a show. I really loved Northern Ireland - it was very special.”
The New York born actress says that being a mother of two young girls, she has learnt how to be a good packer when on holidays.
"For an actress and a mom, I am a really light packer," says the 38-year-old.
"You can ask anyone. It's only because I don't want to stand at baggage claim. I am the person you see fighting with the flight attendant because I am getting on the plane with these massive bags that they want me to check."
