Irish coin magically turns into a ring!

What an amazing piece of art! A brilliant idea, literally wearing your heritage and a little bit of history

We just can’t get enough of this amazing animation of the creation of a beautiful piece of jewelry using an old Irish coin.

In an age of upcycling and as of group who, obviously, love all thing Irish these rings and this hypnotic little video instantly caught our eye. This fabulous ring made from a copper nickel one-shilling Irish coin, dated 1939. How incredible!

The ring, and video, were created by Nicholas Heckaman, at The Ring Tree, based out of Florida. He writes “I made my first coin ring because I wanted a special handmade engagement ring (my girl is very special, store bought just won't do).”

Love it!

He continued “I decided to try to make a coin ring without ruining the coin's details.  It took some trial and error, some failed attempts, and a bit of frustration, but I finally got my first double-sided coin ring.” Well we certainly think you succeeded.
