Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has laughed off suggestions that she might emigrate if Sarah Palin makes a run for the presidency.
Clinton was asked if she would head for the hills if Palin ever became President.
She was speaking at a town-hall meeting at an all-women college in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia when a student asked if she would move to Canada or Russia in the event Palin pulled off such a political coup.
"Well, the short answer is no. I will not be emigrating," she said adding, somewhat obliquely, "I will be visiting as often as I can."
And she said she would not be drawn into a debate on potential Republican candidates.
"I am not going to speculate on who might or might not be nominated by the Republicans," she said. "I am very proud to support Barack Obama and I will continue to support Barack Obama."
