TDP Multimedia Wider Horizons graduates
Last Wednesday, the Tyrone-Donegal Partnership Multimedia Wider Horizons group graduated. Not only were the program participants in attendance, but they were supported by their host families and employers. It is truly amazing to see so many people come together for the success of this group’s program.

Everyone gathered in the IIIC vault for the celebration and several participants made heartfelt speeches. Shane Coll, Danielle Henderson, Paul Mullin, Niall Eggleston, and Derek Bustard spoke about their experience in Boston and on the Wider Horizons program. The program closed to the guitar-playing of Ryan McGlinchey.

Throughout their six weeks in Boston, the group worked in local community access TV stations. This program is unique in that the work is all around media, and upon completion of the program, the trainees are eligible for a Diploma in Creative Digital Media. It is a great opportunity for these young people to grow, experience Boston, and gain valuable skills that could help them in future careers.

Thanks to all of the host families for opening up their homes and to all of the employers who gave these young adults the chance to work in their organizations and made this a unique and rewarding experience.

The group left Boston on Friday with supervisors Lisa McAleer and Sinead Mullan to return home. We wish them every success for the future.
