Mass General and New England Revolution have teamed up to help AliveAndKickn raise money and awareness for colon cancer and genetic cancer by playing twenty-four hours of soccer.

Taking place on Friday, May 10 from 6pm through Saturday, May 11 at 6pm, the AliveAndKickathon is a full-day soccer marathon fundraising game to benefit colon cancer awareness. The Event will be held at the turf soccer fields at the Veterans Memorial Stadium in Quincy, MA.

"We think that using the international game of soccer will help get the message out that Colorectal Cancer is not an old man's disease and that it affects younger people and women. Soccer is a perfect venue for reaching the right audience," said David Dubin, Founder of AliveAndKickn, former soccer player, youth coach and 3-time survivor. "We are hopeful for a real impact in the community and we hope to turn New England "Blue" for colorectal cancer awareness."
Register for the event and lock in your timeslot, either as an individual, with a group, or with a full squad. By doing so, you ensure your place on the field with players your age, and you also have the ability to get your fundraising page up and running quick.

For doing so, you get a ticket to the May 11th Revs game against NY Red Bull, and some AliveAndKickn merchandise. Special guest appearances are scheduled by the New England Revolution mascot Slyde and the RevGirls. To register, or for more information visitwww.crowdrise.com/AliveAndKickathonNewEngland
