It's official: Tom Brady will try to convince men to wear Uggs
The New England Patriots quarterback who is married to Gisele Bundchen has signed a deal to become the face of the Uggs' men's division in the US.
Last Monday in breaking the news on CNBC, Decker Outdoor Corp (the compnay who owns Uggs) CEO Angel Martinez said who better than Brady to “give guys permission to wear Uggs.”
“He embodies the stylish casual attitude that is at the foundation of every product we make, and is as much a style icon off the field as he is a playmaker on it,” Martinez said.
“He’s the guy every guy I know wants to be,” Martinez said. “It’s that cool-under-pressure thing. Guys like that,” he added.
Responding to the news about his latest endorsement, the NFL star said:“I have worn and loved the UGG brand for a long time.
“This collaboration gives me an opportunity to work with a leading global brand with a great history and a true vision for the future of its men’s collection.”
Last year UGG sales hit a record $711.8 million but has to be s spoof, right?
