Lindsay Lohan's lawyers must be some kind of magicians. What was meant to be a 90-day jail sentence magically turned into a 13-days sentence in jail and now less than a week after Lohan got into rehab it seems like she might be released.

According to some reports the UCLA Medical Center has recommended that Lohan be released to an out-patient program. This could happen as early as Friday afternoon.

Danette Meyers, the prosecutor in Lohan's case, spoke to RadarOnline.com. She said "My understanding from conversations with [Lohan's attorney] Shawn Chapman Holley is that Miss Lohan could be released early…It is looking as if that is what the health-care professionals are going to recommend. ... How much earlier she could be released, I'm unsure of at this point."

She continued "I will follow what the health care professionals advise…That could involve follow-up treatment for Miss Lohan, however, it is my understanding that it is looking like the health care professionals will be recommending that she be released earlier than the 90 days Judge Revel previously ordered."

If Lohan is going to be involved in out-patient care they better look up facilities in the Big Apple. Dina, Lohan's Mother, told NBC that Lohan is "doing wonderfully" after her jail sentence, all 13-days.

It seems that Dina favors the court system in New York and has not enjoyed Judge Revel playing "hardball" in L.A.

She said that although California is wonderful "a different game you play there…The court system is a little different".

Perhaps poor Lindsay would be better off staying put in rehab getting well and then considering her options instead of running away to the other side of the country.
