Alice Eve played the Irish nanny in “Sex and the City 2”, quite frankly her accent was appauling (see explanation here).

Though her character was stereotypical and her presence annoying to almost any Irish person I know who has seen the movie we still can’t blame her for being intimidated on the set of the movie.

The 28-year-old actress said she was really nervous about appearing in the film but she also said the set ran like a well oiled machine.

“It was crazy for me to be in that movie. It’s like ‘The Godfather’ for women!” said Eve. “But it was all so slick, easily one of the smoothest sets I have been on, like a well oiled machine... aside from the screaming toddlers.”

Though she was intimidated but the gorgeous cast she said that they were a pleasure to work with.

Of Sarah Jessica Parker she said “She’s absurdly nice, shockingly nice.”

Eve’s also recently starred in “She’s out of My League”. She told Empire magazine how much fun she had on set with fellow cast members Jay Baruchel (“Knocked Up”, “Tropic Thunder” and Mike Vogel (“Miami Medical”).

“Everyone was in their mid-twenties. We ran around like teenagers, like we thought we were 16. We had a really good time,” said Eve.

Thankfully there wasn’t an Irish accent in sight on that set.
