“Dancing with the Stars” winner Jennifer Grey will undergo surgery on a ruptured disk in her lower back. The 50-year-old “Dirty Dancing” star injured herself during the finale of “Dancing with the Stars” at the end of November.
Speaking to Access Hollywood she said “I ruptured a disc, and I’m gonna go home today and I’m probably gonna have surgery this week or sometime next week…Compared to the other surgeries I had on my neck, my doctor says it won't be a big deal. I'll be home that night."
She said “The win and the experience of doing - more the experience of doing Dancing With The Stars - already, like I don't even remember the pain I was in a week ago."
Grey underwent serious surgerys following a car accident in Ireland in 1987.
