Tipperary will take on Cork for the 2025 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship Final following this weekend's semi-final matches in Dublin's Croke Park.

Cork trounced Dublin 7-26 (47) to 2-21 (27) on Saturday, while Tipperary edged out Kilkenny 4-20 (32) to 0-30 (30) on Sunday to emerge as the final two teams of this year's championship.

However, Sunday's semi-final ended on a dramatic note when the final score was incorrectly displayed as 4-21 to 0-30 after Tipperary was erroneously awarded a point for what was actually a wide shot.

In a statement after the semi-final on Sunday, the GAA confirmed "that the official score at the end of the Tipperary v Kilkenny GAA Hurling All-Ireland Senior Championship Semi-Final was 4-20 to 0-30.

"The GAA acknowledges there was confusion over the final score.

"The CCCC [Central Competitions Control Committee] is awaiting the full referees report in order to establish how the initial mistake occurred."
