County Kerry cheerleaders, preparing for The Summit in Florida, have been taking advantage of Ireland's snow days.
This week our video introduces you to our Cheerleaders Katelyn and EmmaRose and takes us on a tour of Killarney.
Beast of the East and Storm Emma
Ireland turned into a winter wonderland over the last few days thanks to Storm Emma where the country was covered with heavy snow. A Red Alert was announced by Met Eireann and the public was asked to remain indoors from 4pm on Thursday until noon on Friday due to blizzard forecast. Schools and colleges were closed, transport services were canceled, and only essential public services operated in areas affected by the red alert.
Enjoying the Snow in Killarney
Children took full advantage of the snow courtesy of Storm Emma – building snowmen, tobogganing and sledding down the snowy slopes and enjoying the snow fights. Our cheerleaders enjoyed the break from school and also from training and got busy making snowmen and practicing their stretches in the snow!
