Two days ago a massive north Atlantic groundswell displayed ‘apocalyptic’ conditions across Ireland. The storm lead to flooding and even evacuation in areas. Aer Lingus cancelled 16 flights out of Dublin, and Storm Brigid left the country reeling in the recovery process.

Limerick and Galway were arguably the worst hit areas, with up to four feet of water in Limerick.

Social media outlets have been flooded with dramatic images of the Irish people struggling with the dramatic weather and many simply making the best of things.
