Saoirse Ronan has reportedly welcomed first baby with husband Jack Lowden

Saoirse Ronan and her husband Jack Lowden are understood to have welcomed their first baby after they were recently photographed pushing a pram together.

Ronan and Lowden - who got married in Edinburgh last summer - were snapped pushing a pram together in London, with photos of the sweet jaunt published in The Sun today, Thursday, September 11.

This comes after the Daily Mail mentioned on September 6 that Ronan had "just given birth" to her and Lowden's first child.

Speculation that Ronan, 31, was pregnant kicked off back in May when she was photographed with what looked like a baby bump at a Louis Vuitton fashion show in France

In the days that followed, the Irish Independent - citing a source close to Ronan and her husband - confirmed that the couple is indeed expecting, with the source saying the two are "thrilled."

The duo, whose low-key romance is rumored to have begun after they both starred in the 2018 flick “Mary Queen of Scots,” tied the knot in July 2024 in a hush-hush ceremony in Lowden's native Scotland.

The two actors collaborated as producers through their outfit Arcade Pictures on the screen adaptation of Amy Liptrot's memoir "The Outrun," in which Ronan starred.

In November, Ronan discussed the idea of marriage and children with Vogue.

“Yeah, I do,” she said when asked if she wanted things like marriage and children.

“I became successful when I was quite young. So it meant that, actually, by the time I found my partner, I’m now at the stage where if it happened, I would like to have a kid.

"I feel fortunate enough that if I step out of this [the entertainment business] for a minute, I’m hopefully not giving it up forever. But, yeah, I’ve always wanted that.”
