Conor McGregor and his longtime partner Dee Devlin are reportedly getting married in a chapel in the Vatican today, Friday, December 12.

McGregor and Devlin's wedding is set to take place in the historic Chiesa di Santo Stefano Degli Abissini, just behind the Basilica of St Peter on the way to the Vatican Gardens, the Irish Independent reported on Friday.

Crime World shared a clip of Deviln arriving at the chapel:

The Irish Independent notes that in recent days, senior Vatican figures privately expressed their concern over the appropriateness of making a Vatican venue available to McGregor.

The priest who married the couple said his hands were tied about the wedding.

“I’m aware of it, but what can I do?," Texan priest Fr AJ said when asked if he knew about the controversy surrounding McGregor.

Neither McGregor nor Devlin, who have been engaged for over five years, explicitly announced the wedding on their personal social media channels.

However, earlier on Friday, McGregor's pub in Dublin, the Black Forge Inn, posted a picture of McGregor and Devlin on Instagram with the caption "McGregor Day 12.12," seemingly hinting that something big was in the works.

McGregor and Devlin, both from Dublin, have been together since 2008, before McGregor shot to fame in the MMA ring. They announced their engagement in August 2020.

The couple has four children together: eight-year-old Conor Jack Jr, six-year-old Croía Mairéad, four-year-old Rían, and two-year-old Mack.

McGregor brought Devlin and their four children along when he made a surprise appearance at the White House to meet with US President Donald Trump and other top officials for St. Patrick's Day earlier this year:

McGregor and Devlin's wedding comes less than two weeks after a civil lawsuit in which McGregor was accused of sexual battery in Miami, Florida, was voluntarily dismissed by the plaintiff.

It also comes just over a year since a Dublin jury sided with accuser Nikita Hand in her civil case against McGregor. McGregor has since lost his appeal of the decision in Dublin's High Court, while the Supreme Court recently rejected his appeal.

Following the civil case decision last November, Devlin took aim at Hand on Instagram, writing in part: "My sons will be warned women like you exist in the world." She added that she and McGregor "dealt with these issues privately many years ago" and that they have "come out stronger than ever."

More recently, McGregor attempted to rally support for his campaign to become the next President of Ireland, but ultimately failed to get on the ballot.

Last month, the Irish UFC fighter claimed on social media that 'God came' to him while he underwent Ibogaine treatment for trauma in Mexico.
