Irish police are still hunting for the phone of 18-year-old Cameron Reilly, who was violently murdered in Louth on May 25.
Gardaí (Irish police) are investigating the possibility that 18-year-old Irish student Cameron Reilly was killed in a “jealous rage” as they battle through a “wall of silence” put up by local young people who may know the truth behind his violent death.
Reilly’s body was discovered in a field outside Dunleer, Co. Louth, by a man walking his dog on the morning of Saturday, May 26, and a post-mortem revealed he had been strangled to death.
The teenager was believed to have been socializing in the field where his body was found on the night of Friday, May 25, with as many as 20 other young men and women aged between 15 and 24.

Gardaí are continuing to search for Reilly’s iPhone which was not found with his body, believing it may hold clues to his death, including texts that brought him to the field that night. It is thought the popular teenager may have been targeted because of his relationship with a young woman.
Gardaí have also asked residents and businesses in Dunleer not to put bins out for collection until they are sure they do not contain Cameron Reilly’s phone an iPhone 8X and they say anyone offered that model phone for sale should contact them

It is also believed that other young people may have been present at the time of the murder. Gardaí have told them not to hesitate in coming forward, even if they had consumed drugs that evening.
