Could this be the next best Irish film to rival “The Quiet Man?” Liam Neeson travels to Belfast to film “Normal People.”

Liam Neeson is taking a well-earned break from running after terrorists and having action-packed escapades as he tries to save his family and the world to take on a love story set in Belfast called “Normal People.”

Cast opposite Lesley Manville, Neeson will return to Northern Ireland this July to begin filming on the movie which is already creating plenty of buzz ahead of Cannes in May.

The film is said to see Neeson play Manville’s husband, the pair taking on the roles of a long-married couple suddenly struck with the horror of a breast cancer diagnoses. Over the course of Manville's character's treatment, the bond between the pair is explored and challenges arise from the uncertain future now ahead of them.
