What do you make of Kim Kardashian as Jackie Kennedy?

Kim Kardashian will appear in September’s issue of Interview magazine dressed as late First Lady Jackie Kennedy.

In a series of photos taken by photographer Steven Klein the reality TV star is pictured seated next to her daughter, four-year-old North West, with her hair styled with classic Jackie O curls and outfit to match.

The piece, by writer and trans activist Janet Mock, tells readers that Kardashian is “underestimated, misunderstood, and undeniably fascinating” as Jackie Kennedy was and praises her as “another mother whose every move captivated the American imagination.”

As for Kardashian herself she took to Twitter to declare herself delighted with the shoots and tweeted Kelin and the magazine that, “I will treasure this shoot forever!”

Kardashian is the currently thought to be the highest American reality TV star in Hollywood and has raked in an estimated $53 million in earnings.

With such large paychecks, she has been able to indulge her interest in the Kennedys and reportedly unsuccessfully bid $379,500 for one of Jackie O’s vintage Cartier watches.

Perhaps her disappointment motivated her to do the shoot!
