"House of Guinness" storyline
Penned by "Peaky Blinders" creator Steven Knight, “House of Guinness” is an epic period drama set in 19th-century Dublin and New York. The narrative opens after the death of patriarch Sir Benjamin Guinness, whose will throws his four adult children—Arthur, Edward, Anne, and Ben—into the ferment of inheriting and preserving the massive Guinness brewing empire amid power struggles and personal turmoil.

As Knight told Netflix it’s “the extraordinary story of a family who happens to be the inheritors of the biggest brewery in the world… The first priority is: Don’t screw it up. And the second priority is to make Guinness even bigger.”
"House of Guinness" will air as an eight-part limited series, available all at once on Netflix. Steven Knight leads the creative team as creator and executive producer, joined by Karen Wilson, Elinor Day, Martin Haines, Tom Shankland, and Ivana Lowell. Tom Shankland directs four episodes, while Mounia Akl directs the remaining two.
