Love them or hate them, there's no getting away from emojis in 2018, especially as today, July 17, we celebrate World Emoji Day 2018. 

You all know those clever little faces and things that populate our text messages. But can they also tell a story? A young fifteen-year-old high school student sent us her version of the Easter 1916 Rising and aftermath as might be captured by the emojis!

It is apparently becoming quite a popular pastime to do emoji versions of stirring events and movies. Someone recently launched the entire plot of “The Shining” movie as scripted for emoji.
